Methanex negotiating to expand methanol capacity in New Zealand

Methanex is busy in New Zealand looking to expand its methanol production capacity there. The company is working out gas purchase agreements with customers for the project's output. The company produces 210,000 per annum of methanol in New Zealand, which is exported, but it is looking to produce 900,000 tonnes per annum by the end of 2013.
