In line with the government's policy to reduce the noise standard in the residential areas, new demand for rails and sections for soundproof walls is expected to pick up. Together with 6 government organizations including the Ministry of Construction and Transportation and the Ministry of National Defense, the Ministry of Environment announced January 16 the government's general measures to reduce noise in daily life from 2006 through 2010.
