German ice cream makers are really getting on the ball this year.Wellness, natural products, smaller packages, and special events are driving the market in 2006 - especially one special event. The World Cup soccer championship is giving Germany, this year's host, a severe case of football fever. But even the introduction of the DVD of Disney's Cinderella 2 is an occasion for another special product. Meanwhile, the war for dominance of the premium market continues between Nestle Scholler's Movenpick and Langnese's Cremissimo. They're all trying to kick balls throughthe goal posts, and they aren't counting on anybody to come around with glass slippers.
