Improving the climate of teaching sessions:The use of evaluations of students and instructors

The pressure for accountability in higher education had led the premier institutions across the world to think of the evaluation method of a lecture.Currently,formal and informal methods like feedback forms and interviews are in vogue,but they aren't helpful.An approach to effectively evaluate the gap between the perception and expectations of a student from the lecture,as well as vice versa and taking the corrective measure,is put forward by the author.(26 refs.)
