Landia has won an order to supply a new aeration system to the Hook Norton brewery in Oxfordshire. Dry-mounted MPTK-1 chopper pumps (7.5kW) from Landia will aerate wastewa-ter at a loading rate of 10kg COD/m~3 from the brewery. The innovative knife system of Landia's chopper pumps is designed to ensure that solids cannot get into the pump and clog it up, so there is no downtime. In addition, the specially designed pump casing and impeller protects it from impurities.
