This paper presents a set of techniques to reduce the code andndata sizes for software synthesis from graphical digitalnsignal-processing programs based on the synchronous dataflow model. Bynsharing the kernel code among multiple instances of a block with anshared function, we can further reduce the code size below the previousnresults based on inline coding style. A systematic approach also isndevised to give up the single appearance schedule for reducing the datanbuffer requirement. The proposed techniques have been evaluated with twonreal-life examples to prove their significance
