For the past few years, AFCEA International's 134 local chapters and the AFCEA Educational Foundation have raised and distributed to students and teachers approximately $1.5 million in scholarships, awards and grants. AFCEA's notable commitment to education was recently recognized by the deputy undersecretary of defense. During opening remarks at AFCEA International's Sarnoff Award Dinner, Gordon England commended AFCEA members, chapters and corporations for their investment in strengthening the nation through education.
