It was archi-hippy Peter Cook, who, when head of the previously stuffy and earth-bound Bartlett School, kicked off the students' fascination with all things temporal, inflatable, ephemeral and electrical/electronic, ensuring its end of year shows have been stuffed with pneumatic digital binbags ever since. And it's contagious. Philippe Beesley and Mette Ramsgaard Thomsen had free rein at the Copenhagen School of Architecture to mark C0P15 with their 'Sargasso Cloud' (far left) resembling the aftermath of an explosion in a duck-down gulag. Cook also had the wild notion that the mass dissemination of information might best be done on the side of a blimp.
