Bids for a 30-year concession to manage and operate the 109 km High Speed 1 between the Channel Tunnel and London St Pancras, along with intermediate stations at Stratford and Ebbsfleet, were invited by Transport Secretary Phillip Hammond on June 21. Pre-qualification questionnaires must be submitted by July 9.
