Ed Bleka began his career in the meat industry as a 12-year old immigrant from Poland. Working before school and on the weekends at a Chicago-area sausage factory, Ed's introduction to the food business inspired an American success story. His vision for a company that offered customized, high-quality cuts of meat is now a thriving business. Ed's company, Quantum Foods, is today a multi-million dollar enterprise that serves customized, fully cooked, pre-portioned meats to some of America's top food processors, restaurant chains, supermarkets and noncommercial customers.
