The YGN Report

I start this report by wishing everyone a happy and prosperous new year. A new year for the YGN usually means a new chair and this year is no exception. On behalf of everyone in the YGN, I would like to welcome Becky Ferris to the role. Becky is a chemical engineer working for UKAEA in the Radioactive Waste section. Becky has chosen to write a few words: "The BNES YGN celebrates its 10th Year Anniversary this year and I feel very privileged to be Chair 2006. The YGN has achieved much over its short life to date, which is due to the enthusiasm and leadership of the past Chairs. In his time as Chair 2005, Dave Clarke has continued to push the YGN forward and this was obvious in our involvement, and profile, at 'Fuel for Thought'. On behalf of the BNES YGN, I'd like to say thank you to Dave for being an excellent Chair.
