YGN host nuclear debate at Science Innovation event

November 10th also saw the first Science Innovation event organised by Global Science - the holder of the East of Scotland STEM Scotland contract - at the Ineos Exhibition Centre in Grangemouth. The event was kicked-off with a presentations by Professor C Pulham (Head of Chemistry at Edinburgh University), Mr Little (Head of Biofuels R&D for Ineos) and Dr G Whittington of Global Web. Over 80 S5 and S6 students (16 to 17 year olds) from the Falkirk area listened attentively to the presentations before breaking into groups of 20 for a series of workshops.
