The sociolinguistics of language education in international contexts

The book aims to turn 'a sociolinguistic lens on some of the key issues in contemporary language education' (p. 7). Based on the introduction of the two editors, the book endeavors to unpack the many facets of inequality in language learning across different social contexts. It is divided into three sections, namely 'theoretical aspects' (Section 1), 'contexts' (Section 2) and 'practices' (Section 3).
