Large-scale Partner Selection of Virtual Enterprise on the Cloud Manufacturing Service Platform

Cloud Manufacturing (CMfg) is a new model of agile networked manufacturing. Its Cloud Manufacturing Service Platform (CMSP) is dynamic and open, which provides the support for the realization of enterprise alliances with different granularity according to the actual need. However, the large-scale partner selection becomes a serious obstacle for the construction of virtual enterprise due to its low-threshold and free-access mode. To deal with this problem, a new model for the partner selection of large-scale virtual enterprise in CMSP was proposed. In this model, a three-phase partner selection strategy was introduced, where leader constraint (first phase), ideal point clustering algorithm (second phase) and artificial neural network-based interactive genetic algorithm (third phase) are adopted. This strategy fully considers the coordination and agility in CMfg and, therefore, obtains the optimal partner combination. The simulation example shows the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.
