A group of Florida property owners asked the U.S. Supreme Court during oral arguments Dec. 2 to reverse a state supreme court decision allowing government erosion-control efforts to restore a beach in Destin, Fla., with the new beach becoming the property of the state (Stop the Beach Renourishment Inc. v.
