The introduction of lead-free in a production organisation is a complex process change. With proper engineering planning, lead-free soldering process can be effectively installed in electronic assembly operations. Lead-free soldering requirement is mandatory in many nations. Also lead-free in electronics is already an accepted and widely practised process. This article deals with technical aspects of lead-free regimes.
