The purpose of this study is to investigate the pre-service teachers’ attitudes towards physics lesson and their self-efficacy beliefs according to their gender, departments, and perceived success in physics. The research group included 334 pre-service teachers with 210 male (62,9%) and 124 female (37,1%). The pre-service teachers were given; “Attitude Scale Towards Physics Lessons” scale which is developed by ?zyürek & Ery?lmaz (2001), “Physics Self-Efficacy Scale” developed by ?al?kan, Sel?uk, & Erol (2006), and “Personal Information Form” developed by the researchers. In order to analyze the pre-service teachers’ attitudes towards physics lesson and self-efficacy according to gender t test was used; whereas according to the departments and perceived success in physics one-way ANOVA was used. As a result of investigations, significant differences were statistically found among the pre-service teachers’ attitudes towards physics lesson and self-efficacy according to gender, departments and perceived success in physics. The findings were discussed according to the literature.
