Robertson to fix defects in five Scottish PPP schools

Robertson is to rectify defects found in five of its PPP and PFI schools in Aberdeen. Defects were found in five schools delivered by the contractor following an investigation carried out by Aberdeenshire Council into its PPP and PFI schools. Last year, engineering consultant Fairhurst was appointed by the council to inspect nine PFI/PPP schools and two that were not procured under a private finance model but were of a similar age and design to the PFI/PPP schools.
