A new method for symbolic behavioral model generation of nonlinearnanalog circuits is presented. Equation-based simplification techniquesnfor symbolic analysis of nonlinear circuits are proposed. They comprisenglobal and local simplification operations which are performed on thensystem of nonlinear circuit equations. This system is derived from antransistor level netlist. Behavioral models are generated fornDC-transfer and multiple AC operating conditions using an efficientnerror estimation algorithm. They include symbolic physical circuitnparameters and allow deeper insight into nonlinear circuit behavior.nSome examples are given to show the feasibility of this approach
