Objective To discuss the role of VEGF in the development of the disease,we detected the expression of mRNA of VEGF and its receptors in myoma. Methods We selected forty cases who needed surgery because of myoma. We selected the tissue of myoma,and the normal tissue as compared. By the method of real-time PCR,the levels of mRNA of VEGF and its receptor in myoma and normal tissue were detected. We studied the correlation between the expression of VEGF、VEGFR2 mRNA and the diameter of myoma. Results The levels of VEGF、VEGFR2 mRNA are higher in myoma than in normal tissue,which has statistic significance(P<0.05). The level of VEGFR1 mRNA are higher in myoma than in normal tissue,which has no statistic significance(P>0.05). There are positive correlations between the expression of VEGF、VEGFR2 mRNA and the diameter of myoma(P<0.05). Conclusions VEGF and VEGFR2 play an important role in the development of uterine myoma.% 目的通过检测VEGF（血管内皮生长因子）和受体mRNA在肌瘤组织中的表达，探讨其在疾病发生、发展中的作用。方法选择40例需要手术的子宫肌瘤患者，手术时留取肌瘤组织及正常组织（作为对照），采用实时荧光定量PCR方法，检测VEGF、VEGFR1和VEGFR2 mRNA的相对表达水平，分析VEGF、VEGFR2 mRNA在肌瘤组织中的表达和肌瘤直径的相关性。结果 VEGF、VEGFR2 mRNA在肌瘤组织的表达明显高于肌层组织，差异有统计学意义（P<0.05），VEGFR1 mRNA在肌瘤组织的表达高于肌层组织，但差异无统计学意义；VEGF、VEGFR2 mRNA在肌瘤组织的表达与肌瘤直径呈正相关（P<0.05）。结论 VEGF和受体VEGFR2在子宫肌瘤的发生、发展中起重要作用
