Tibetan language is the most important tool for communication of Tibetan .It has a vast geo-raphical distribution .The formation of Tibetan geographical distribution is closely related to population igration ,national integration and natural environment .The massive migration of Tibetan to surrounding reas in Tubo Period prepared the ground for Tibetan geographical distribution .During long eras of his-ory,the national integration happened between Tibetan and surrounding nationalities .The integration of anguage caused by the national integration made Tibetan geographical distribution gradually form .The atural environment of the Qinghai -Tibet Plateau fundamentally determines the development of Tibetan ivilization,and also determines the Tibetan geographical distribution .The Tibetan geographical distribution radually formed with the interaction of many factors in long period of history .%藏语是藏族最主要的交际工具，其地理分布辽阔。藏语地理分布格局的形成主要与口迁徙、民族融合和自然环境密切联系。吐蕃时期藏族向周边地区的大规模人口迁徙奠定藏语地理分布格局的基础。在吐蕃政权及其以后的历史时期中，藏族与周围的民族发生了族融合，由民族融合引起的语言融合使藏语的地理分布格局日趋定型。青藏高原的自然环从根本上决定了藏族文明的发展，从而也决定了藏语的地理分布格局。藏语的地理分布格是多种因素在漫长的历史长河中相互作用下而逐渐形成的。
