国务院近期提出"引导一批普通本科高等学校向应用技术类型高等学校转型,重点举办本科职业教育".职业教育是与职业关系密切的教育.转型发展的高校主要是指1999年以后升本的地方普通高等学校.转型的原因主要有我国经济社会发展对高级应用技术型人才的需求、普通本科高校毕业生就业困难和职业教育级别上移的国际趋势.%The State Council put forward"leading the transforma-tion of key ordinary undergraduate colleges and universities to application-oriented colleges and universities, and focusing on establishing undergraduate professional education". Vocational education is closely associated with vocation. The colleges and u-niversities of the transformation and development mainly refer to the ordinary institutions of higher learning upgraded after 1999. The causes of the transformation are mainly the demand of Chi-na's economic and social development for top talents with appli-cation technology, the difficult employment of graduates from or-dinary undergraduate colleges and universities, and the interna-tional trend of the rising level of vocational education.
