青年大学生党员是大学生群体中的先进分子和中坚力量，是党员队伍中最具有生机和活力的群体。加强新形势下高校学生党员教育是党和国家发展的需要，是大学生自身成长发展的需要，也是发挥党员先锋模范作用的需要。对于高校大学生党员入党动机不纯、党性修养不高、先锋模范作用发挥不够等现象，高校党务工作部门应对其加强马克思主义理想信念教育、注重培训学习以及强化实践锻炼等，努力为高校人才培养目标服务，为中国特色社会主义事业输送合格的建设者和可靠接班人。%Young college student Party members are the advanced part and backbone force among college students, as well as the most active and energetic group among all the Party members.
