母语负迁移对大学生英语写作的影响--基于华中师范大学英语专业学生的研究

摘要

Negative transfer of mother tongue is a major interfer-ence factor in the language acquisition of English learners with Chinese as their mother tongue. Chinese-English differences can result in English learners' inappropriate expressions and mistakes in morphology, syntax, passage and other aspects in English writing. According to the contrastive analysis theory in second language acquisition, through analyzing the English writing of sophomores from the English Depart-ment of Central China Normal University, this paper found the existing misuses and mistakes and made a classified description of them. Through a contrastive analysis of the empirical data, this study found that the negative transfer of mother tongue is the main cause of students' mistakes. Meanwhile, we made a theoretical analysis and exploration on the possible causes of the mistakes, hoping to provide certain references for writing teaching.%母语负迁移是以中文为母语的英语学习者在语言习得过程中一个重大的干扰因素，汉语与英语的差异导致了英语学习者在英语写作中出现词法、句法、篇章等各方面的不恰当表达以及错误。本文根据第二语言习得中的对比分析理论，通过分析华中师范大学英语系大二学生的英语习作，找出其中使用不当以及错误并加以分类描述。通过实证的数据对比分析，该研究发现母语负迁移是学生所犯错误的主要原因。同时作者对错误产生的可能原因做了理论上的分析和探讨，以期对写作教学有一定借鉴意义。
