戏剧大赛是英美文学“第二课堂”教学的重要组成部分，能有效地促进大学生英美文学的“学”。剧本改编和戏剧表演的实践能深化大学生对文学概念和文学理论如作品主题、作品情节、人物形象、舞台场景的理解。%Drama contests, an important part of English literature“Second Classroom”teaching, can spur students’study of Eng-lish literature. In the practices of play adaptation and performance, students’understanding of literary concepts and theories such as theme, plot, characters, and scenes are deepened.
