文章首先分别概括了我国五大戏曲的英译及其研究现状，然后分析了这五大剧种英译及其研究所出现的问题，文章发现有三个问题值得关注，一是如何面对文化差异问题，二是如何对待文化缺省现象的替换和再创造问题，三是如何对待五大剧种英译的视角问题。文章认为，在五大戏曲的英译及研究中，只有正视文化差异，才能保留戏曲的特色；从戏曲保护和传承的角度文章并不赞成替换和再创造等类归化策略的应用；戏曲英译的未来发展方向在于文学翻译和演出字幕的英译。%This paper firstly summarizes the English translations and its researches of China's five major operas. Then it analyzes the problems of their English translations and researches. The paper finds that there are three problems:One is that how to face the problems of cultural differences;Another is that how to deal with the replacement and recreation of cultural defauAnother is that how to treat the five operas in English translation. The paper holds that, in the English translations and researches of the five major operas, one has to face the cultural differences to retain the characteristics of the operas;In the view of opera protec-tion and inheritance , the paper is not in favor of application of replacement and re creation; The future development of opera translation lies in the translation of its literary translation and the translation of subtitles.
