从电影《推手》看中西文化价值观的冲突

电影《推手》是跨文化交际的一个典型范例，它主要体现了中西方跨文化交际中的种种冲突，而这些冲突又可以从价值观的角度来分析和解释。从克拉克洪的文化价值观维度来看，影片中的价值观冲突主要可以分为人的本性、人与自然的关系、时间观念、活动、社会关系五类。然而，跨文化交际中的价值观冲突并非不可调和。正如电影结尾所说明的，只要来自不同文化背景的人们能够相互包容和沟通，这些冲突便都可能化解。%As a typical exemplification of intercultural communication, the movie Pushing Hands mainly reflects the conflicts in the process of intercultural communication between China and western countries, and these conflicts could be analyzed and ex-plained from the perspective of cultural values. Analyzed in terms of Kluckhohn’s value dimensions, the main conflicts of values in the movie can be divided into five types, namely, Human Nature, Relationship to Nature, Sense of Time, Activity, and Social Relationships. However, these conflicts in the process of intercultural communication can also be mediated. Just like what is re-flected at the end of the movie, these conflicts are likely to be resolved as long as people from different cultural backgrounds can accept and communicate with each other.
