从电影《推手》看中西方集体主义与个人主义文化价值观

摘要

It mainly studied the cultural origins of differences between Collectivism and Individualism ex-isting in the movie Pushing Hands from the perspective of geography,history and religion in this paper.It indicated that collectivism and individualism are not two completely contrasting cultural dimensions and as long as the communicators endeavor to appropriately locate their own cultural identity,the possibility of smooth intercultural communication would be foreseeable.%通过分析Hofstede集体主义和个人主义价值观在电影《推手》中的具体体现，从地理、历史和宗教三方面对这一价值观在中美文化中的差异产生的文化根源进行分析研究。集体主义和个人主义并非是两种完全对立、不可调和的价值观念，只要交际者通过自身文化身份的恰当定位和积极重建，做到文化认同，跨文化交际的顺利进行并非难事。
