从功能对等理论谈电影《归来》字幕英译

摘要

With the increasing cultural exchanges between countries and districts,movie subtitle translation is gaining more and more emphases.Accurate subtitle translation can make target language audience have same feelings with source language audi-ence.Nida's functional equivalence translation theory stresses target language and its culture and focuses on translation text and its readers,which makes it widely used in movie subtitle translation.This paper tries to study the application of Nida 's functional equivalence translation theory by the translation of the subtitle of Coming Home.%随着国家、地区之间文化交流增多,影视翻译也逐渐受到重视.一部好的影片,需配以准确达意的字幕翻译才能使目的语观众获得与源语观众同样的观影感受.奈达的功能对等"以目的语和目的文化为依归,以译文和译文读者为中心"(郭建中,2000)[1],其核心为"等效"理论,因此在电影字幕翻译过程中得到广泛应用.该文分析张艺谋电影《归来》的字幕翻译对奈达功能对等翻译理论的应用.
