浅析地球物理勘探文献英汉翻译技巧

摘要

Geophysical Exploration is a branch of Natural Science, so its documents are highly professional with abundant special-ized vocabulary, long-structured sentences and complicated contents. In order to facilitate the geophysical explorers read and ac-quire the relevant documents,this paper analyses the characteristics of geophysical exploration documents and the translation prin-ciples on the case of English-Chinese translation practices of geophysical exploration documents, and concludes the translation strategies of geophysical exploration documents.%地球物理勘探是自然科学的一个分支,具有较强的专业性,其文献涉及大量的专业词汇,句子结构较长,以及纷繁复杂的内容.为了更好地使地勘行业人员阅读和掌握相关文献资料,该文结合地勘英汉翻译实例,分析了地勘专业文献特点和翻译原则,并总结了地勘专业英汉翻译的方法.
