3.1~5.2GHz超宽带可变增益低噪声放大器设计

         

摘要

Low noise amplifier is the most important part in ultra wideband (UWB) receiver system. A variable gain low noise amplifier (LNA) wiorking in 3. 1~5. 2 GHz UWB was designed. A common-gate structure is adopted in the input stage of the circuit to achieve wideband input match. A current-steering structure is introduced to realize the variable gain of amplifiers, whose simulation is carried out based on TSMC 0. 18fim RF CMOS process. The results of the simulation show that the low noise amplifier's maximum power gain is 10. 5 dB, ripple is less than 0. 5 dB in the designed band, input return loss is less than-15 dB, noise figure is below 5 dB, and power dissipation is 9 mW while the power supply is 1. 8 V. So this circuit can be applied in low-power UWB receiver systems.%低噪声放大器是超宽带接收机系统中最重要的模块之一,设计了一种可应用于3.1~5.2GHz频段超宽带可变增益低噪声放大器.电路输入级采用共栅结构实现超宽带输入匹配,并引入电流舵结构实现了放大器的可变增益.仿真基于TSMC0.18μmRFCMOS工艺.结果表明,在全频段电路的最大功率增益为10.5dB,增益平坦度小于0.5dB,噪声系数小于5dB,输入反射系数低于-15dB,在1.8V电源电压下,功耗为9mW.因此,该电路能够在低功耗超宽带射频接收机系统中应用.
