美国高校基于学生多样性的学业指导

         

摘要

Student diversity is one of the most important characteristics of American higher education , which includes race and ethnic group,international students,student with disabilities,adult students,LGBT student,student athletes. Student diversity demands multiple advising. Based on the multiple needs, multiple and individual advising is delivered in American colleges and universities. Targeted strategies are used, which include creating school environment to support the diversity, providing multiculture education and so on. Full range of academic advising is contributed to promoting students to develop academic and career well and obtain success.%学生多样性是美国高等教育多样性的主要表现之一.基于人口统计意义上的美国高校学生多样性具体包括少数民族和种族学生、国际学生、残疾学生、成人学生、性取向不同学生、学生运动员等.多样性的学生必然有多元的学业指导需求.美国高校根据多样性学生的特点和多元指导需求,采取多种具有针对性的学业指导策略,创造支持多样性的校园环境,实行多元文化教育,提供全方位、多形式和个性化的学业指导帮助,促进学生的学业和生涯发展,使学生最终成为一个成功的学习者.
