无缝学习模式及其支撑环境技术架构的应用

     

摘要

随着移动通讯、智能终端、云计算和物联网等技术的快速发展,“人人、事事、时时、处处”的学习理念正在兴起,基于不同学习终端和学习场景灵活切换的无缝学习模式受到越来越多的关注。在无缝学习模式中,多种学习终端设备之间的无缝切换与融合是实现真正意义上无缝学习的基础和关键。清华大学教育技术研究所在理论分析和实践探索基础上,提出了无缝学习模式支撑环境概念框架与软件系统架构,并通过“清华教育在线”(THEOL)教学应用验证了该系统的有效性。结果表明:(1)无缝学习模式涉及支持固定场景学习的终端设备和支持移动场景学习的终端设备之间的无缝切换;(2)基于PC的网络教学平台和基于手机的移动学习平台分别支持固定和移动两种场景的学习任务,构建无缝学习模式的支撑环境需要将两者进行有机整合,同时与第三方主流移动应用(如微信公众号等)进行无缝集成;(3)无缝整合实现了学习者在PC平台与移动平台之间无缝切换、学习资源共享以及学习过程与行为数据同步。(4)初步教学应用证明,无缝学习模式支撑环境的概念框架及其软件架构具有有效性和可行性。%With the rapid development of mobile communications, intelligent devices, the cloud computing and the internet of things technologies, the concept of learning with the meaning of "everyone, everything, everytime, everywhere" is on the rise. The seamless learning model based on the flexibility of switchover between different learning devices and learning situations has attracted more and more attention. The seamlessly switchover and integrating of a variety of learning devices is the basis and the key point of the implementation of meaningful seamless learning. Tsinghua Educational Technology Institute proposed the conceptual framework and the technical architecture of the seamless learning model based on the theoretical analysis and practical exploration. Furthermore, the seamless learning system was developed and integrated into"Tsinghua Education Online"(THEOL) in order to support using the seamless learning model in the real learning process and hence to verify the effectiveness of the system. The results showed that: (1) The seamless learning model is related to the seamlessly switchover between fixed learning situations-supported terminal devices and mobile learning situations-supported terminal devices;(2) The PC-based online learning platform and the cellphone-based learning platform respectively support learning tasks in fixed learning situations and mobile learning situations. Building a seamless learning environment requires the organic integration of these two types of situations. In addition, the third-party mainstream mobile applications (such as the WeChat public number, etc.) also need to be integrated into that environment; (3) Seamlessly integration of the learning situations allows the learner to seamlessly switchover between PC platforms and mobile platforms, while sharing learning resources and synchronizing the learning process and learning behavior data;(4) Short-run teaching practice proved the effectiveness and feasibility of the seamless learning conceptual framework and its supporting software architecture.
