现代语言哲学的分析特征与洛克的哲学思想密切相关，早在弗雷格之前，洛克就系统地关注了语言存在的功能作用，以及语词符号系统与观念的关系。洛克对于语言现象的关注与分析主要依据自己的“知性论”，建立在“知性论”之上的是关于语言现象认知过程和观念形成过程的分析，这样的过程分析会将语言现象的呈现结果引向其原因存在的环节，即引向语言行为者的原因。于是，在语言现象的经验事实上，我们具有“知性”的语言能力，即“语言知性”。“语言知性”拥有自身的应用范围、地位特征和观念形式，“语言知性”确立过程的真实就是语言现象分析过程的真实，就是语言观念形成的真实。%the analysis on features of modern philosophy of language was related to Lock ’ s philosophic thought, early before Frege, Lock began to think about the function of language, and the relationship between linguistic system and ideas; Lock's analysis is mainly based on his“intellectuality theory”,“intellec-tuality theory” applies to the forming processes of linguistic recognition and ideas, and the processes will lead the existence of language phenomenon to the existence of its cause, that is lead to the existence of speaker;therefore, according to the reality of language experience, we have the language ability of“intellectuality the-ory”, that is “language intellectuality”; “intellectuality theory” has its own field of application, its own features of existence and its own forms of ideas, the reality of the identification of “intellectuality theory” is the reality of the analysis of language phenomenon, and the reality of the forming of language ideas as well.
