The Characteristics of Chinese language teaching are embodied not only in the unity of language, literature and culture, but also in the changing process from traditional functional concern to the unity of func- tion and humanity. This paper analyzes the scientific and humane features in the teaching of Chinese primary and secondary schools.%语文学科的特殊属性不仅表现在对其语言、文学、文化三位一体特性的强调,也表现在对语文由传统的工具性特性扩展为工具性与人文性的统一的嬗变过程。文章对中小学语文教育的科学性与人文性做一辨析。
