自由是马克思人学思想的重要范畴，现实的人在本质上是自由的存在物，自由是人类活动的永恒追求，人类历史在一定意义上就是由摆脱自然的束缚到摆脱人为的束缚、最终实现人的自由的历史。自由是人的生命活动的本质所在，是人和动物相区别的关键所在，是人的全面而自由发展的重要因素，而实现人的自由必须扬弃异化，这是实现人的自由的根本途径。深刻认识和把握自由范畴，有利于正确认识人的本质，进而为人的自由全面发展创造有利的条件，最终实现人类由必然王国向自由王国的飞跃。%Freedom is an important category in Max's theory of human. Realistic human is a free existence in nature. Freedom is the eternal pursuit of human's activity. In a sense, human history is a history of casting off the natural and the artificial bondages to realize people's freedom. Freedom is the essence of human life's activity. It is also the key to differentiate human beings from animals and the important element of human comprehensive and free development. However, the basic fundamental way to realize human's freedom is to sublate alienation. Profound understanding and grasping of such a category as freedom are helpful for the right understanding of human nature and further make advantages for humane free and comprehensive development so as to finish the leap from the realm of necessity to the realm of freedom.
