东吴大学法学院的英美法学教育

摘要

Since having been established,the Comparative Law School of China is famous around the world in half of its distinctive Anglo-American law education. The education was systemic in threshold,length of schooling,curriculum,fashion of teaching,staff and so on. The school kept up with law schools in America. The status of Anglo-American law education declined a little bit after Soochow University registering in the National Government,but the law school retained the tradition of Anglo-American law education all the time,and led the national universities. Although the flouring of the Anglo-American law education in the Comparative Law School of China was in the particular background,and there was some imperfections,but it is undeniable that the Comparative Law School was a international first-rate law school at that time. We can learn something from the history.%东吴大学法学院自创办以来，就以其独特的英美法学教育蜚声中外。从入学标准、学制、课程设置、教学方式和教师情况等诸多方面来看，东吴大学法学院的英美法学教育是日益系统完备且与美国法学院高度接轨的。虽然在东吴大学于国民政府注册之后，英美法学在学校的地位有所下降，但是学校仍然延续着英美法学教育的传统，其英美法学的水平依然可在国内领跑。虽然东吴大学法学院英美法学教育的兴起有其特定的背景，而且这种教育也存有一定的缺陷，但不可否认的是，在当时算得上具有国际水准的一流法学院，到如今依然有着诸多经验值得当代中国法学教育工作者借鉴学习。
