《蛙》与《八月之光》的现代与后现代性解读

摘要

现代性与后现代性指人们的思想态度和行为方式及其在政治、经济和文化领域表征出的属性。现代性主要表现为对理性、自由和平等的追求，后现代性通常表现为反本质、反中心和反理性。现代性与后现代性不能截然分开，现代性本身从一开始就孕育着后现代性特征。文章从现代与后现代性整体理论视角分析莫言的《蛙》与福克纳的《八月之光》，通过横向比较剖析两部作品中现代与后现代性的穿插交错，从而揭露文本语言背后的历史合力、作家主体意识与文化心态。%Modernity and post-modernity refer to people ’ s ideological attitude and behavior mode and their attributes in political, economic and cultural fields. Modernity shows mainly the pursuit of rationality, freedom and equality, and while post-modernity pursues anti-essentialism, anti-centrism and anti-ratio-nalism. Post-modernity cannot separate from modernity, and its characteristics were bred in modernity from beginning. This paper explores Frog and Light in August in the view of unified theory “modernity and post-modernity”, and by horizontal? comparing the interweaving of modernity and post -modernity in these two masterpieces, it discloses synthesized historical forces, writer’ s subject consciousness and cultural mentality behind language.
