若干刑事罪名的英译评析--以《中华人民共和国刑法》英译本为例

摘要

This paper em ploys the static equivalence theory in legal translation. It studies the legal English term s for certain crim es in The Criminal Law of the People's Republic of China and the law in typical countries including B ritain, America, or France, etc. from the perspectives of com parative law and etym ology.And it m akes an assessm ent of the translation of som e typical crim es in China's Crim inal Law .It aim s to set up evaluative criteria for the translation of crim inal charges and offer som e suggestions on how to put those crim es correctly in the target language.%从比较法学与词源学的视角，结合法律翻译中的静态对等理论，探讨《中华人民共和国刑法》与英美法系典型国家所使用的相关刑事罪名的英语术语差异，评估了我国刑法英译本中的若干刑事罪名的翻译质量，旨在构建一个刑事罪名的翻译评估体系，以期为这些刑事罪名的正确翻译提供参考性建议。
