除西部地区外，我国教育经费与经济发展的非均衡性总体上一致，均呈缩小态势。地区间的经济差距仍是我国地区发展中最突出的问题，而其教育投入差距较小。西部各省区经费投入的差距有所缩小，但地区经济的差距却不断扩大。东部恰好相反，经费差距大，经济差距明显缩小。中部的教育投入与经济发展的非均衡性最小。对比财政与非财政的教育经费，发现后者的区域非均衡性大于前者。%In addition to the western region, there is imbalance in education funding and the regional economy, both of which showing a trend of a narrowing gap. Economic gap between three zones is still the most prominent problem in regional development, while educational gap is relatively smaller. Although the funding gap in western areas has been narrowed, the economic gap is expanding. The eastern provinces have a quite different picture: educational funding difference growing while economic gap narrowing. In Central China, there is a better balance in both education investment and regional development. Compared with fiscal funds, non-fiscal funds are less balanced.
