翻译中的文化因素及应对策略

摘要

Translation, a process of language transformation and interpretation of different cultures,is inseparable from culture.The translator can not get away from the differences between the two languages in terms of cultural background,psychological cuhure,thinking modes and customs, etc. Accordingly,the translator is expected to read extensively and equip himself with a wide range of knowledge of ancient and modern profound knowledge of different culture.The translation work should be performed under the guidance of the theory of ＂faithfulness, expressiveness and elegance＂.Attentions should be paid not only to the results, also to process.%翻译不仅是语言转换，更是文化转换，任何翻译都离不开文化。译者在做翻译时，会面临两种语言之间不同的背景文化、心理文化、思维方式、风俗习惯等文化因素。要尽可能重视这些文化因素的影响，译者应博览古今，培养自己广博的文化知识，坚持“信、达、雅”理论的指导。同时，要有高度负责的态度，在译事中不仅要注重结果，也要注重过程。
