“等值”、“等效”翻译原理评析

“等值”、“等效”是翻译教材中的两个必不可少的反映奈达翻译思想的两个术语，通常被称为“等值”翻译原理、“等效”翻译原理。然而，“等值”的意义含混不清，并且“等值”中的“值”和“等效论”中的“效”也是误译。依据德国著名翻译理论家的观点，重新解读了所谓的等值、等效翻译原则。%This paper points out and analyses the mistakes in the translations of Nida" s translation princi- ples. The wrong Chinese translations resulted in wrong translation terms. The wrong translation terms caused a long-time and great disagreement and argument among the Chinese translation theorists. The writer of this paper suggests that the studies on Nida" s translation theories should be reconsidered.
