为应对新时期英语专业发展的挑战，作为一所新升地方本科院校，凯里学院英语专业人才培养以市场需求为导向，就业为目标，突出人才培养的实用性和实效性。不断创新人才培养模式，按照学校“三性三型”办学定位及“培养具有创新精神和实践能力的本科应用型人才”的培养目标，修订和完善人才培养方案，强化技能素质培养，建立和完善实践教学体系，推进教育教学改革，加强师资队伍建设，初步建立了一套较为完善的英语专业应用型人才培养模式，对同类新升地方本科院校的人才培养模式建构将具有一定的启示意义。%Facing the current situation of development of English major,the newly-built local universi-ty has to change its traditional training model,based on market demand and centers on validity and practicality when carrying out its personnel cultivation, As a newly-built university,Kaili University has developed a new talent cultivation model based on orientation of running school of“three character-istics and three types”,cultivated applied English talent as its talent cultivation objectives,amended and perfected its talent-cultivating project,strengthened the cultivation of skills and quality,improved its practical teaching system,promoted teaching reform and teacher training and development,initially built up a basic model of cultivating applied English Talent,which will present some enlightenments to some similar local universities.
