旅游景区公示语特征及翻译策略——以河南为例

     

摘要

Tourism public signs mainly refers to the tourist notices, instructions, tips, warnings, marking and other text and graphic information, involving food, lodging, travel, tour, entertainment, purchase and other aspects of daily life. Bilingual public signs can be seen everywhere in scenic spot, however Tourism English translation of public signs exist some problems in Henan Province. Translation of public signs in scenic spot is not standard not only directly affect its information function, and will affect the tourist attractions and the region and even in the world of image and the impact. The paper summarizes and analyzes the existing problems in Henan Province tourism English translation of public signs, and put forward some suggestions to solve these problems and countermeasures.%  旅游景区公示语主要指的是旅游景区公开和面对旅游者的告示、指示、提示、警示、标示等文字及图形信息,涉及到食、宿、行、游、娱、购等日常生活的方方面面。双语公示语在旅游景区随处可见,然而河南省旅游景区的公示语英文翻译存在着一些问题。旅游景区的公示语翻译不规范不仅会直接影响其信息功能的发挥,而且会影响到该旅游景区及其所在地区乃至在世界上的形象和影响。本文对河南省旅游景区公示语英译存在的问题进行了归纳与分析,并提出了一些解决这些问题的建议和对策。
