The Chinese legal system is one of the world's five major law systems, has a long history and brilliant performance, has great impact on Asia and the world. "Rule by propriety" is an important feature of Chinese law system. Similarly, Ehrlich's theory of "life" has in common with the Chinese legal system of Confucian, and it has important influence in the western law.
