翻译规范轨迹的发展及其价值的探究

摘要

In their over 2000 years’ development ,translation norms have developed gradually from a scattered source language oriented study to a systematic target language oriented one .The former focuses on language structure and grammar while the latter puts emphasis on translators ,cultural and social con‐text .Despite its wide acceptance in the West ,and the obvious advantage of being dynamic ,pluralistic , translator‐orientated ,its influence in China has been slightly weak .As Xie Tianzhen said :“Being lack both in depth and in breadth ,our current descriptive study ,therefore ,is unsystematic”. In my view ,It might be of some value for Chinese translators to get to know the development of the translation norms and their values .%翻译规范历经2000多年的发展，逐渐从零散的、以原作为中心的规定性的研究走向了系统的、以译作及其相关的社会文化语境为重点的描写性研究。其研究范围从着重强调静态的源语言文本内部的语言结构和语法系统的对比转向了关注动态的目标语在新文化中的接受与传播，关注译者的地位及各种翻译目的的实现形式。尽管描写性的翻译规范具有动态化、主体化和多元化的发展优势，其亦在西方翻译理论和实践中得到广泛认可，但对中国译界的影响还有些许微弱，正如谢天振所提到的，“目前中国的描写性翻译研究缺乏严密的理论体系和令人信服的理论深度和广度，因为经验之谈难以自成体系”。因此，对翻译规范的今生前世进行认真的梳理，对其价值进行客观的评价，这对中国译界充分吸收和应用描写性的翻译规范理论颇有意义。
