课堂语码转换在法律英语教学中的必要性

摘要

Code - switching refers to the application of different languages or language variations according to the change of time, place, content and persons in interpersonal communication. This paper explores the necessity of the application of classroom code - switching in legal English teaching from the following five aspects, namely, the functions of code - switching in classroom, the teacher capability, students＇English proficiency and the features of legal English. Finally this paper summarizes that classroom code -switching is an essential teaching tactic for the teachers to sucessfully finish the teaching contents and to achieve the academic goal of this course.%语码转换是指说话人根据时间、地点、内容、对象等因素的变化而换用不同的语言或语言变体。本文从课堂语、码转换的功能、语言认知规律、任课教师的自身能力和所处环境、学生的英语水平以及法律英语自身特殊性等方面分析了法律英语教学中应用课堂语码转换的必要性，提出课堂语码转换是教师顺利完成法律英语教学内容、实现教学目的所必需的一种教学策略。
