《大学英语课程教学要求》和大学英语第二课堂教学策略

摘要

本文阐述了《大学英语课程教学要求》和大学英语第二课堂教学策略的关系,并以广东外语外贸大学南国商学院为例,分析了在＂教师主导,学生自主,功夫在外＂的教学模式下,英语第二课堂教学策略的选择和制定。本文认为,大学英语第二课堂建设是培养学生自主能力的平台,有助于大学课堂教学模式的转换,必须在大学教学改革中得到重视。%The paper discusses the relationship between College English Curriculum Requirements and teaching strategies involved in the college English extracurricular activities.A case study of South China Business College of Guangdong University of Foreign Studies has been under examination against the teaching model proposed in the paper in which ＂the teacher gives instructions,the student conducts autonomous learning and mainly learns outside the classroom.＂ The paper concludes that more attention should be paid to college English extracurricular activities since it can serve as a platform for training the students autonomous learning abilities and further benefit the transformation of the college English teaching model.
