本文针对独立学院学生汉英翻译能力不足的问题,应用英汉语法对比的研究成果设计汉英翻译教学内容,应用认知语言学理论设计汉英翻译教学模式,并依据该模式进行了汉英翻译教学实验。实验结果显示该模式的应用在一定程度上有效提高了学生的汉英翻译水平。%The paper attempts to solve the problem that the students in independent college have insufficient capability in the translation from Chinese to English by applying the achievements of contrastive study between Eng-lish grammar and Chinese grammar to the design of teaching contents in translation from Chinese to English and applying the cognitive linguistics to the design of teaching model of translation from Chinese to English. A teaching experiment is conducted based on the designs,the result of which proves that students have made progresses in the translation to some extend.
