汉武帝刘彻是中国历史上具有雄才大略、建立丰功伟绩的一代帝王，其武功与文治，均堪称盛极一时，而且影响深远。在武功层面，其举措紧紧围绕中央集权与专制的加强、国家统一与稳定的巩固而展开，虽然成果丰硕、建树良多，但难免好大喜功、穷奢极欲之讥。在文采层面，武帝朝立乐府、兴汉赋，成就“一代之文学”的辉煌。汉武帝又雅好文学，勤于创作；而且斐然可观，不输文采。中国帝王之有文集，即始于汉武帝。汉武帝之文集，是为《汉武帝集》。%Liu Che, Emperor Han Wu, is one of the extraordinary Chinese emperors with great talent, bold vision and great achievements, whose Kongfu and literary grace have a far-reaching influence. On kongfu level, all his measures surround the strength of centralization and autocracy and the consolidation of national unity and stability. Although they yield fruitful results, it couldn’t cover his extremely extravagant and luxurious way of life. On literary grace level, he established Yuefu, and promoted Hanfu which accomplished great achievements in literature during the Han dynasty. Han Wudi is good at literary creation and has achieved great success in it. He is the first among Chinese emperors who has his own collected works. And the collected work of him is Emperor Han Wu.
